Terms of Service

These terms apply to the use of this website and to services provided by SIA Corebyte.

1. About us

This website is operated by SIA Corebyte, registration number 40103594403, registered address Jūrkalnes iela 7A-75, Riga, LV-1046, Latvia. Contact: info@corebyte.lv.

2. Website use

The content of this website is provided for general information about our services. It does not constitute an offer or professional advice, and it may be changed or updated at any time.

3. Services and agreements

Services are provided only on the basis of a separate written agreement that defines scope, deliverables, timelines and fees. Where such an agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement prevails.

4. Client responsibilities

Clients agree to provide accurate information, timely feedback and the access required for us to perform the agreed work. Delays in providing these may affect agreed timelines.

5. Intellectual property

Unless agreed otherwise in writing, rights to deliverables transfer to the client upon full payment. We retain rights to our pre-existing tools, know-how and generic components, and to any third-party software used under its own licence. Website content and the Corebyte name remain our property.

6. Confidentiality

Each party keeps the other party's non-public information confidential and uses it only for the purposes of the engagement, except where disclosure is required by law.

7. Warranties and liability

Services are performed with reasonable skill and care. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or data, and our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the services concerned. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Term and termination

Either party may terminate an engagement as set out in the applicable agreement. On termination, work performed up to the effective date remains payable.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Latvia, after a good-faith attempt at resolution through discussion.
